The Giant Spider Crabs need protection. Help them by Taking Action Now.

There are currently 5 main actions you can do which will support the SOS Save Our Spider Crabs Campaign.

We've listed them in order of priority and support strength below:

1. Submit A Personal Letter - 5 minutes

Strongest Action - Be a Force for Good

Our work is never done, and we can use all the help we can get. One of the strongest most effective ways you can take part is by writing your own personalized letter to the stakeholders involved in the decision making process. We've provided a key discussion point document for you to download and use to assist in writing a personalized letter. Spread the word about all that SOS Save Our Spider Crabs is doing, and help us gain the support we need.

2. Sign the Petition - 2 minutes

Baseline Action - Your Help is Truly Appreciated

Every individual has the ability to motivate others and inspire true change. By signing our petition, you become a crucial part of our movement by making sure that our mission is heard and has a far-reaching, lasting impact. Share far and wide with pride.

4. Purchase Merchandise

Get Social - Wear and Share your SOS support

With 2 awesome designs across over 150 products (including T's, hoodies, water bottles, sock, masks, bumper stickers and heaps more!), we promise you'll look Crabulous! Share your campaign merch on socials using the hashtag #saveourspidercrabs

5. Code of Conduct

SOS have recommended behaviours for zero impact interactions

The Spider Crab aggregation draws many visitors to the waters of Port Phillip Bay and with that attention, there is potential for negative impacts on the crab's natural lives (including fishing!). We as on lookers also need to ensure we observe and enjoy the iconic spectacle without impact. Follow the link to view SOS's Code of Conduct.
